Removal

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER: REMOVAL; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRAY

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT INNER TRIM COVER LH Removal

5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

(a) Disconnect the rear light assembly connector.





(b) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the wire harness.

(c) Disengage the grommet and pull out the wire harness.





(d) Remove the 2 screws.





(e) Put protective tape around the rear bumper cover.









(f) Using a clip remover, remove the 6 clips.





(g) Remove the clip.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

(h) Disengage the 8 claws as shown in the illustration.

(i) Disengage the 3 guides and remove the rear bumper cover.
