DTC 2b - Electric Detonator 2 Resistance too Low

MALFUNCTION
DTC 2b L: Electric detonator 2, resistance too low.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
1. Unplug the connector on the seat-belt tensioner.
2. Plug reference resistor 84 71 153 into the connector.
3. Clear the trouble code and wait at least 40 seconds with the ignition switched ON. Check whether the trouble code persists.
If the trouble code persists - proceed to step 4. If the trouble code does not recur the fault is probably in the Seat Belt Tensioner, which should then be changed. Check this by removing the reference resistor and plugging in the seat-belt tensioner. Switch ON the ignition and wait at least 40 seconds. If the trouble code is generated afresh, the fault is in the Seat Belt Tensioner.
4. Unplug connector 58.
5. Unplug the seat-belt tensioner connector. Plug the reference resistor into the connector.
6. Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance across pins 5 and 9 of the connector on the cable connected to the seat-belt tensioner.
If the resistance is higher than 1.7 ohms, the fault could be in the wiring between connector 58 and the control module.
If the resistance is 1.7 ohms or lower, the fault is in the wiring between connector 58 and the seatbelt tensioner.
7. Investigate the cause. Rectify the fault or change the control module as necessary. Before changing the control module, Programming and Relearning
