Fuel Door Release Lever: Service and Repair

FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER AND LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Fuel-filler Lid Opener

1. Open the fuel-filler lid.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Rear scuff plate (RH) Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

b. Sub-trunk Sub-Trunk Removal/Installation

c. Trunk end trim Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

d. Third-row seat Rear - Third-Row Seat Removal/Installation

e. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt (RH) Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

f. Trunk side trim (RH)

3. Remove the nut.






4. Pull out the fuel-filler lid opener in the direction of the arrow.






5. Disconnect the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the fuel-filler lid opener.






6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Fuel-filler Lid Opener Lever

1. Remove the front scuff plate (driver's side). Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

2. Partially peel back the floor covering.

3. Remove the bolts.






4. Disconnect the fuel-filler lid opener cable and fuel-filler lid opener lever.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
