Heater Duct Component Removal/Installation





HEAT DUCT COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Heat Duct (LH)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Rear console Rear Console Removal/Installation

b. Shift lever knob (MTX) Service and Repair

c. Side wall Side Wall Removal/Installation

d. Front console component Front Console Component Removal/Installation

e. Front scuff plate (LH) Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

f. Front side trim (LH) Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

g. Hood release lever Service and Repair

h. Driver's side lower panel Lower Panel Removal/Installation

i. Knee bolster Knee Bolster Removal/Installation

3. Using a flathead screwdriver, unhook the heat duct (LH) hooks and remove the heat duct (LH).






4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Heat Duct (RH) No.1

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Glove compartment Service and Repair

b. Dashboard under cover Dashboard Under Cover Removal/Installation

3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Heat Duct (RH) No.2

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Glove compartment Service and Repair

b. Dashboard under cover Dashboard Under Cover Removal/Installation

c. Heat duct (RH) No.1

d. Rear console Rear Console Removal/Installation

e. Shift lever knob (MTX) Service and Repair

f. Side wall Side Wall Removal/Installation

g. Front console component Front Console Component Removal/Installation

h. Front scuff plate (RH) Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

i. Front side trim (RH) Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

j. Passenger's side lower panel Lower Panel Removal/Installation

3. Using a flathead screwdriver, unhook the heat duct (RH) hooks and remove the heat duct (RH) No.2.






4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
