Drive Plate Removal/Installation - AW6A-EL

DRIVE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AW6A-EL]

1. Remove the transaxle. Automatic Transaxle Removal/Installation - AW6A-EL

2. Remove in the order indicated in the figure.

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.










Drive Plate Installation Bolts Removal Note

1. Set the SST or equivalent against the drive plate.






2. Remove the bolts and the drive plate.

Drive Plate Installation Bolts Installation Note

1. Remove the sealant from the bolt holes in the crankshaft and from the drive plate installation bolts.

2. Set the SST or equivalent against the drive plate.






3. Tighten the new drive plate installation bolts in two or three steps in the order shown.

Tightening torque
- 73-87 Nm {7.5-8.8 kgf-m, 54-64 ft-lbf}
