Possible cause
^ Burnt ENGINE 15A fuse
^ Damaged SAS unit
^ Open or short circuit in wiring harness
^ Poor connection of connector

- Check the ENGINE 15 A fuse in the fuse block No.1

Warning
Handling the SAS-unit improperly can accidently deploy the air bags, which may seriously injure you. Read SERVICE PRECAUTIONS before handling the SAS-unit.
Service Precautions

1. Verify that the ignition switch is at LOCK.
2. Remove the dashboard.
3. Disconnect the SAS-unit connector.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON.








5. Measure the voltage at the terminals of the SAS-unit connector.
