Flow Chart 8 - Warning Lamp Remains OFF

Step 1








- Check the MAIN 100 A (K8), 80 A (B6) fuse in main$ fuse block No.1 and the METER 15 A fuse in the fuse block.

Step 2
1. Remove the instrument cluster.








2. Check the air bag system warning light bulb.

Step 3
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.








2. After 4-8 seconds, measure the voltage at terminal 3D (R/Y) of the instrument cluster connector. (B+: Battery positive voltage)

Step 4
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.





2. Disconnect the diagnostic module connector and connect the SST to it as shown in the figure.

Step 5








- Check for continuity between the terminals of the diagnostic module connector and the instrument cluster connector.
