Note: To prevent the fail-safe system from unintentionally operating, the system-down fuse in the diagnostic module will burn if the module detects one of the following:
1. Damaged D-sensors (center, RH, and LH).
2. Open or short circuit in air bag system

Step 1
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.





2. Disconnect the diagnostic module connector and connect the SST to it as shown in the figure.

Step 2
1. Disconnect the D-sensor connectors (center, RH, and LH).








2. Measure the resistance between terminals A and B of the D-sensor.

Step 3








- Measure the resistance between the diagnostic module connector terminals.
