Test B: One Low Beam Headlamp Is Inoperative

PINPOINT TEST B: ONE LOW BEAM HEADLAMP IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
The lighting control module (LCM) is supplied voltage from the central junction box (CJB) through circuits 1055 (WH/LG) and 1056 (DB/LG) for the LH and RH low beams or ballasts. When a request for the low beams is received by the LCM, the LCM provides voltage through circuits 160 (DB/WH) and 161 (DG/OG) to the LH and RH headlamps. Ground for the low beams or ballasts is provided through circuit 57 (BK). When the voltage is received from the LCM, the ballast provides the high voltage necessary for the high intensity discharge (HID) bulbs to illuminate.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- HID bulb
- Ballast
- LCM
