Pinpoint Test A: The Red Brake Warning Indicator Lamp Is Always On

Normal Operation
The red brake warning indicator is located on the instrument cluster. When the brake fluid in the brake master cylinder reservoir is less than an acceptable level, and when the parking brake is engaged, the red brake warning indicator illuminates.

Possible Causes
^ low brake fluid level
^ parking brake engaged
^ circuit 31-CG7 (BK/BU) open
^ circuit 8-GC7 (WH/RD) open or short to ground
^ low brake fluid level switch
^ Front Electronics Module (FEM)
^ instrument cluster
