Pinpoint Test C: DTC 1925-VAPS Solenoid Actuator Return Circuit Failure

Normal Operation
The FEM module sends the VAPS solenoid a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) current through circuit 8-CE9 (WH/GN). The VAPS solenoid sends a feedback voltage to the FEM module, (depending on power steering assist demand), through circuit 9-CE9 (BN/GN).

Possible Causes
^ VAPS solenoid
^ circuit 8-CE9 (WH/GN)
^ circuit 9-CE9 (BN/GN)

Tests C1-C6:

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
