Removal

DIFFERENTIAL: FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

2. DRAIN DIFFERENTIAL OIL Service and Repair

3. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the engine assembly Removal.

4. REMOVE ENGINE ON TO ENGINE STAND Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY

(a) Support the rear differential carrier with a jack.

CAUTION:
As the differential carrier assembly is very heavy, securely support it with the jack.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and differential carrier.





NOTICE:
* Do not damage the installation surface when removing the differential carrier.
* The remaining oil may leak out when removing the differential carrier.
