2UR-FSE COOLING: RADIATOR: REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

7. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

(a) Remove the 4 clips and duct seal.

8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal

10. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

11. DRAIN COOLANT (for Inverter) Service and Repair

12. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH

13. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH Removal

14. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH Removal

15. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH Removal

16. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH Removal

17. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH Removal

18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER Removal

19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Removal

20. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT Removal

21. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY Removal

22. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Remove the radiator hose.

23. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Remove the radiator hose.

24. DISCONNECT INLET OIL COOLER HOSE

25. DISCONNECT OUTLET OIL COOLER HOSE

26. REMOVE OUTLET ENGINE ROOM ECU DUCT Removal

27. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Detach the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

(c) Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the ECU connector.

28. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 3 bolts and sensor.

29. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Remove the 3 screws.

(b) Detach the claw and remove the cover.

30. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal

31. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 3 connectors and detach the 2 clamps.

(b) Detach the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

32. DISCONNECT NO. 7 INVERTER COOLING HOSE

(a) Disconnect the cooling hose.

HINT
Prepare a container to collect the coolant as coolant may spill out.

33. DISCONNECT NO. 2 INVERTER COOLING HOSE

(a) Disconnect the cooling hose.

Prepare a container to collect the coolant as coolant may spill out.

34. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

35. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A Removal

36. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the radiator from the crossmember.

NOTICE:
Do not damage the core of the A/C condenser with HV radiator.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and separate the radiator from the A/C condenser with HV radiator.

37. REMOVE FAN SHROUD WITH FAN AND MOTOR

(a) Remove the 2 bolts.

(b) Detach the claw and remove the fan shroud with fan and motor.

38. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION

(a) Remove the 2 cushions.

39. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Remove the 2 supports.
