Removal
AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
2. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal
5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal
6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
8. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
9. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
10. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER Removal
12. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Removal
13. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER Removal
14. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER Removal
15. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal
16. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a clip remover, detach the 6 clamps and remove the wire harness.
(b) Disconnect the connectors.
(c) Remove the 5 bolts and radiator support.
17. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
18. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the liquid tube from the cooler condenser.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube.
NOTICE:
Seal the opening of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.
19. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose from the cooler condenser.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose.
NOTICE:
Seal the opening of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.
20. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and inverter cooling pipe.
(b) Loosen the 2 bolts on the bottom side of the condenser.
(c) Remove the cooler condenser.
