Removal

L110F HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
* After the power switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. Therefore, after turning the power switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
5. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

(a) w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:

Remove the console box Removal.

(b) w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System:

Remove the console box Removal.

6. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT

(a) Remove the 2 screws and pull out the duct.

7. DISCONNECT FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Move the shift lever to the N position.





(b) Remove the nut and disconnect the shifting rod from the connecting rod swivel.

8. REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.





(b) Disconnect the 6 wire harness clamps from the floor shift.

(c) Remove the 4 bolts and floor shift.
