Removal

AUDIO / VISUAL: VIDEO TERMINAL (for 4-Passenger with Ottoman): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
* After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CONSOLE ARMREST BASE Disassembly

6. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET (w/o Cigarette Lighter)

(a) Rotate the power outlet socket to disengage the notch.





(b) Pull out the socket halfway and rotate the socket until its protrusion is aligned with the groove of the cover. Then remove the power outlet socket.





7. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (w/o Cigarette Lighter)





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the power outlet socket cover.

8. REMOVE REAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER (w/ Cigarette Lighter)





(a) Remove the rear cigarette lighter cover.

9. REMOVE REAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY (w/ Cigarette Lighter)

(a) Remove the cigarette lighter knob and element.

(b) Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the cigarette lighter socket and retainer.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





10. REMOVE REAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER BEZEL STAY (w/ Cigarette Lighter)





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the cigarette lighter bezel stay rear.
