SUSPENSION: REAR LOWER ARM: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Temporarily install the No. 2 suspension arm with the No. 2 suspension toe adjust plate, rear suspension attachment and nut to the suspension member.





(b) Install the stud of the suspension arm, and temporarily install the washer, nut and bolt to the axle carrier.
2. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Temporarily install the No. 1 suspension arm with the bolt and nut to the suspension member.





(b) Install the stud of the suspension arm, and temporarily install a new nut to the axle carrier.
3. TIGHTEN REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Tighten the bolt and nut.
Torque: 72 Nm (734 kgf-cm, 53ft-lbf)





(b) Tighten the bolt and nut.
Torque: 118 Nm (1203 kgf-cm, 87ft-lbf)
4. TEMPORARILY CONNECT PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH Installation
5. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH Installation
6. STABILIZE SUSPENSION Installation
7. TIGHTEN REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Tighten the nut.
Torque: 150 Nm (1530 kgf-cm, 111ft-lbf)





(b) Tighten the nut.
Torque: 225 Nm (2294 kgf-cm, 166ft-lbf)
8. TIGHTEN PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH Installation
9. INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE Installation
10. INSTALL LOAD SENSING VALVE SENSOR BRACKET Installation
11. INSTALL NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR Installation
12. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 140 Nm (1428 kgf-cm, 103ft-lbf)
13. CHECK SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM
(a) Check the suspension control system Adjustments.
14. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(a) Inspect and adjust the rear wheel alignment Rear Wheel Alignment.
15. CHECK SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
(a) Check the speed sensor signal Test Mode Procedure.
16. ADJUST HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) for LED headlight:
Adjust the headlight Headlight Assembly (for LED Headlight).
(b) for HID headlight:
Adjust the headlight Headlight Assembly (for HID Headlight).
17. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA
(a) Adjust object recognition camera Adjustments.
