2UR-FSE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
HINT: When viewed from the rear of the engine assembly, Bank 1 is on the left side and Bank 2 is on the right side.
1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY
(a) Temporarily install each dampers together with 2 new gaskets and the fuel pipe to the fuel pump.
(b) Install the 2 clamp bolts.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7ft-lbf)
(c) Using SST, tighten the 2 dampers.
SST: 09612-24014

without SST - Torque: 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30ft-lbf)
without SST - Torque: 35 Nm (357 kgf-cm, 26ft-lbf)
- Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.8 in.).
- Make sure SST and the torque wrench are connected in a straight line.
(d) Connect the 3 fuel hoses.
(e) Connect the 2 delivery pipe connectors to the delivery pipe.
2. CONNECT NO. 1 FUEL HOSE
(a) Push in the tube connector to the pipe until the tube connector makes a "click" sound.
(b) Push down on the retainer to lock it in place.
- Check that there is no damage or foreign objects on the connected part of the fuel pipe.
- After connecting, check that the fuel tube connector and the pipe are securely connected by pulling on them.

7. INSTALL NO. 3 COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the No. 3 cover with the 2 clips.
8. INSTALL ENGINE MOTOR CABLE CLAMP BRACKET Installation
9. CONNECT FLEXIBLE HOSE BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
10. INSTALL INJECTOR DRIVER Installation
11. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE HARNESS Installation
12. CONNECT ECM CONNECTOR Installation
13. CONNECT NO. 2 CONNECTOR HOLDER Installation
14. CONNECT HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU Installation
15. INSTALL OUTLET ENGINE ROOM ECM DUCT Installation
16. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER Installation
17. INSTALL NO. 5 COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the No. 5 cover.
18. INSTALL ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Install the engine cover RH with the 4 nuts.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)
19. INSTALL NO. 6 COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the No. 6 cover.
20. INSTALL ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the engine cover LH with the 4 nuts.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)

38. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation
39. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP Installation
40. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER Installation
41. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
