2UR-FSE COOLING: WATER PUMP: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal
4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal
6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair
7. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Removal
9. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT Removal
10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE Removal
11. DISCONNECT WATER HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the water hose.
12. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS





(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness.
13. DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE





(a) Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.
14. DISCONNECT WATER INLET HOSE





(a) Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the water inlet hose.
15. DISCONNECT INLET HEATER WATER HOSE





(a) Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water hose.
16. REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING





(a) Remove the 3 bolts, water inlet housing and gasket.
17. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY





(a) Using SST, hold the water pump pulley.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.
18. REMOVE WATER PUMP





(a) Remove the 9 bolts, water pump and gasket.
