EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL





(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 9 clips and cool air intake duct seal.
2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR





(a) Remove the 2 radiator grille protectors.
3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a screwdriver, turn the pins 90 degrees and remove the 2 pin hold clips.
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.





(b) remove the screw.
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.





(c) Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.
(d) Remove the 8 screws.





(e) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and screw.





(f) Disengage the 10 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
(g) w/ headlight cleaner system:
(1) Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.
NOTE:
Prepare a drain pan or a piece of cloth in case washer fluid leaks.

(h) w/ intuitive parking assist system:
(1) Disconnect the ultrasonic sensor connector.
(i) Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors and remove the front bumper assembly.
