AUDIO / VIDEO: AMPLIFIER ANTENNA: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY





(a) Engage the clip as shown in the illustration to temporarily install the amplifier antenna assembly.
- Clean the antenna conductors on the rear window with a non-residue solvent where the contact terminals will touch.
- When installing a new amplifier antenna assembly, do not remove the protective cover until immediately before installation.
- Do not touch the contact terminals.





(b) Install the 2 nuts and amplifier antenna assembly.
Torque: 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)
(c) Connect the connector.
(d) Engage the clamp.
2. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
Installation
HINT: Refer to the procedures from "Install Roof Headlining Assembly".

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
