SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY






(a) Connect the connector.
NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

(b) Install the front passenger side knee airbag with the 3 bolts, and attach the claw.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL






(a) Attach the clip and 2 claws to install the panel.
3. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Installation

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

7. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Battery

8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

9. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
