Rear Air Seat does not Operate Through Front Switch

DESCRIPTION

A rear air seat main switch signal is sent from the No. 2 console switch (integration control & panel) to the No. 1 console switch (combination switch). Then the signal is sent through LIN communication to the outer mirror switch, which then sends the signal through CAN communication to the rear power seat module switch, and then the rear air seat operates.

1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (SEAT HEATER SWITCH)
(a) Use the Data List to check if the rear seat A/C main switch is functioning properly.
(1) Intelligent tester

(2) Techstream

Center Console Switch





OK:
On tester screen, each item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.
NG -- INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH)
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (NO. 1 CONSOLE SWITCH)
2. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH)





(a) Disconnect the No. 2 console switch connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH)
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (NO. 1 CONSOLE SWITCH)
