SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 5 hooks (A).
(b) Engage the 5 hooks (B) and install the front passenger airbag on the instrument panel.

(d) Connect the 2 connectors to the front passenger airbag.
NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT Reassembly

3. INSTALL SIDE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT Reassembly

4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT: Refer to the procedures from "INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY" Installation.

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

7. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
