At the J1962 connector measure the resistance between pins 6 and 14

- Is the resistance approximately 60 ohms?
Yes
Good
Is the resistance approximately 120 ohms?
Yes
Bad, check for a break between INST and ABS/TCCM
Is the resistance infinity?
Yes
GO to L6 L6: Check INST/J1962 Continuity
Is the resistance approximately 0 (zero)?
Yes
GO to L7 L7: Check For Short CAN+ to CAN-
