C4: Check Harness Continuity - Ground (Mechanical Guard)

With conditions as C3, measure the resistance between
PI042/002 and EM011/012
PI042/002 and EM010/020

- Is the resistance < 0.5 (ohms)?
Yes
GO to C5 C5: Check Harness Continuity - Power (Throttle Position)
No
Inspect PI042, EM011, EM010 and PI001 for bent/pushed back pins or locate harness/splice EMS02 or PIS01. Repair as necessary and test the system for normal operation.
OK?
GO to C18 C18: Check Sensor Supply Voltage
