R9: Check Harness Continuity - Relay Coil

Ignition switch to position 0
Disconnect EM014

Measure the resistance between and EMO14/OO1 and relay socket pin 5
Repeat for EM014/002 and relay socket pin 5

- Is the resistance < 0.5 ohms?
Yes
GO to R10 R10: Check Harness Continuity - Relay Contact
No
Inspect connectors EM049, EM014 for bent/pushed back pins or locate harness/splice EMS2O. Repair as necessary and test the system for normal operation.
