DTC Logic


DTC DETECTION LOGIC







DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE


1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

WITH CONSULT
1.Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 10 seconds.
2.Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "HV BAT" using CONSULT.
Is P3301 detected?
YES- .
NO- INSPECTION END


Diagnosis Procedure


1. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS-1

WITH CONSULT
1.Perform "All DTC Reading" with CONSULT.
2.Check if the "P3300" is detected in "Self Diagnostic Result" of "EV/HEV".
Is P3300 detected?
YES- Perform diagnosis procedure of "P3300". P3300.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS-2

WITH CONSULT
1.Perform "All DTC Reading" with CONSULT.
2.Check if a DTC is detected in "Self Diagnostic Result" of other systems.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Perform diagnosis procedure of applicable DTC.
NO- GO TO 3.

3. CHECK CELL VOLTAGE DETECTION CIRCUIT

Check continuity between Li-ion battery controller harness connector and module (cell) harness connector.




















Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 4.
NO- Repair harness or connector.

4. CHECK DATE OF MANUFACTURE OF LI-ION BATTERY

Check the module serial number label to see the date of manufacture of LI-ion battery. For the position of module serial number label, Module Stack Inspection.
Is it more than 17 months from the date of manufacture?
YES- Replace all of the 12 modules. Module Stack Disassembly and Assembly.
NO- GO TO 5.

5. CHECK THE HISTORY OF MODULE REPLACEMENT

Check the history of module replacement.

CAUTION:
If there is a history of single module replacement, the 2nd single module replacement is not allowed.
Is there a history of replacement?
YES- Replace all of the 12 modules. Module Stack Disassembly and Assembly.
NO- Replace a module including abnormal cell. Module Stack Disassembly and Assembly.
