Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the catalytic converter guard. Refer to Catalytic Converter Guard Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the right front wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement (Service and Repair)




4. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose (2) from the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler pipe. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection).
5. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose (1) from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection).




6. Remove the cooler lines from the transmission (1). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection).
7. Unclip transmission cooler lines from retainers on engine.
8. Remove the transmission cooler lines from the vehicle (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission cooler lines to the vehicle (1).
2. Clip transmission cooler lines to retainers on engine.
3. Install the cooling lines to the transmission (1). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection).




4. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose (2) to the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler pipe. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection).
5. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose (1) to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection).
6. Install the catalytic converter guard. Refer to Catalytic Converter Guard Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Install the right front wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement (Service and Repair)
8. Lower the vehicle.
