Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - No. 1 Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat belt anchor belt.
2. Remove the upper and lower body lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Lower Molding Replacement (SUT) (Body Lock Pillar Garnish Lower Molding Replacement (SUT)) and Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUV) (Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUV))Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUT) (Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUT)).
3. Route the belt through trim panel.




4. Remove the bolt from the upper guide.
5. Remove the bolt from the retractor.
6. Remove the assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the assembly to vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolt to the retractor.

Tighten the bolt to 55 Nm (41 lb ft).

3. Install the bolt to the upper guide.

Tighten the bolt to 55 Nm (41 lb ft).




4. Route the belt through trim panel.
5. Install the upper and lower body lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Lower Molding Replacement (SUT) (Body Lock Pillar Garnish Lower Molding Replacement (SUT)) and Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUV) (Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUV))Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUT) (Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUT)).
6. Install the rear seat belt anchor bolt to body side panel.

Tighten the bolt to 55 Nm (41 lb ft).

7. Install the seat belt anchor bolt cover.
