Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the non-functional air inlet caps. Refer to Non-Functional Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Non-Functional Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement).
2. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement (Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement).




3. Disconnect the wiper hose connection (1).
4. Using a flat-bladed tool, remove the push-in retainers (2).
5. Remove the side fasteners.
6. Using a flat-bladed tool, release the 4 retainers (3) securing the air inlet grille to the vehicle.
7. Remove the air inlet grille from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the air inlet grille to the vehicle, and secure grille by ensuring all 4 retainers (3) are properly seated.
2. Connect the washer hose connection (1).
3. Install the push-in retainers.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

4. Install the side fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

5. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement (Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement).
6. Install the non-functional air inlet caps. Refer to Non-Functional Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Non-Functional Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement).
