Power Sunroof Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the overhead roof console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement (Roof Console Replacement) .
2. Remove the bolts (1) from the motor.
3. Disconnect the sunroof motor electrical connector (2).
4. Remove the motor from the sunroof module (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Synchronize the sunroof motor (3) and module assembly. Refer to Sunroof Track Timing/Synchronization (Service and Repair) .
2. Position the motor to the sunroof module.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Install the bolts (1) to the motor.

Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

4. Verify proper operation of the sunroof.
5. Install the overhead roof console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement (Roof Console Replacement) .
