EGR Tube: Service and Repair

EGR Pipe Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Raise the vehicle on a lift.

2. Remove the engine undercover Engine Undercover Replacement.

3. Remove the EGR pipe mounting nuts (A).





4. Lower the vehicle.

5. Remove the EGR pipe mounting bolts (A).





6. Remove the EGR pipe (B) and the gaskets (C).

Installation

1. Install the EGR pipe (A) with new gaskets (B), then tighten the EGR pipe mounting bolts (C).





2. Raise the vehicle on a lift.

3. Tighten the EGR pipe mounting nuts (A).





4. Reinstall the engine undercover Engine Undercover Replacement.
