Center Console Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:

- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Take care not to scratch the front seat, the dashboard, or the related parts.
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

1. Remove the passenger's dashboard undercover Passenger's Dashboard Undercover Removal/Installation.

2. Detach the clips by pulling up the front inner panel (A).






3. Gently pull out along the rear of the center console panel (A) to detach the clips (B, C).






4. Pull up the center console panel (A) and rearward to release the tabs (B).






5. Open the armrest (A), then remove the console box mat (B) and the bolts.






6. Remove the bolts and detach the clips from the front area of the center console. Disconnect the console subharness connector (A), and detach the connector clip (B).






7. Slide both front seats all the way back, and fully recline both seat-backs.

8. Slide the center console (A) rearward to release the pins (B) from the bracket (C).






9. Lift up the rear of the console (A), and remove it from the dashboard.





10. If equipped, disconnect the seat heater switch connectors (B).

11. Install the console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
- When installing the center console panel, install the tabs (A) into the notch (B) of the parking brake base frame (C).
