Navigation Display Does Not Open or Opens Part Way

Navigation display does not open or opens part way

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Press the OPEN button.

Does the unit beep?

YES - Go to step 3.

NO - Replace the navigation unit.

3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.

Does the display open normally?

YES - The system is OK at this time.

NO - If the display opens part way, check for a mechanical blockage such as foreign material or an open navigation DVD lid. If there is no blockage or the display does not open at all, replace the navigation unit.
