DTC P1359: Malfunction in CKP/TDC Sensor Circuit
1. Do the ECM/PCM Reset Procedure.
2. Start the engine.

NOTE: If the engine does not start, cranking the engine for 20 seconds continuously may be necessary.

Is DTC P1359 indicated?
YES-Go to step 3.
NO-Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose wires at the CKP/TDC sensor and the ECM/PCM.

3. check for poor connections or loose wires between the CKP/TDC sensor and the ECM/PCM.
Are the connections OK?
YES-Substitute a known-good ECM/PCM and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original ECM/PCM.
Diagnostic Strategies

NO-Repair as necessary.
