Transmission Housing

NOTE: Place two 70 x 70 x 450 mm (2.75 x 2.75 x 17.75 in) wood blocks under the clutch housing.




1. Remove the reverse idler shaft bolt.




2. Remove the 10 mm bolts and 8 mm bolts attaching the transmission housing to the clutch housing.




3. Remove the 32 mm sealing bolt.
4. Expand the snap ring on the countershaft ball bearing and remove it from the groove using a pair of snap ring pliers.
5. Separate the transmission housing from the clutch housing and remove the sealant from the mating surfaces.




6. Remove the thrust shims and oil guide plate from the transmission housing.
