Oil Pump and O-Ring

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Oil pump retaining bolts and pull out the oil pump to access the O-ring for removal.
2. O-ring.

Inspect
- Oil pump and O-ring. Replace if necessary.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New O-ring.
2. Lightly coat seal with GM # 1050169 grease.
3. Oil Pump and mounting bolts.

Tighten
- Seven bolts uniformly, a little at a time to 22 N.m (16 lb. ft.).
