DTC 71









CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
DTC 71 is an internal DERM fault and will set if any of the following conditions are detected: 1) DERM power supply reserve voltage charge or discharge time failure; 2) DERM power supply reserve voltage out of range for 500 milliseconds; 3) DERM is unable to read from or write to the EEPROM; 4) "36 VLR" output voltage is greater than a certain voltage for 500 milliseconds.

TEST CONDITIONS
Tested during the "Turn-ON Tests" and every 100 milliseconds during the "Continuous Monitoring Tests."

FAILURE CONDITIONS
DTC 71 is set when an internal DERM fault is detected during the "Turn-ON Tests" or "Continuous Monitoring Tests."

ACTION TAKEN
The DERM illuminates the "INFL REST" indicator,

CONDITIONS TO CLEAR
Current DTC 71 will clear if no internal DERM faults are detected for 500 milliseconds.
