Normal Operation
The generic electronic module (GEM) sends voltage reference signals to the multifunction switch through circuits 91S-LG1 (BK/YE) (LH turn input) and 91S-LG2 (BK/BU) (RH turn input). When the multifunction switch is placed in the LH or RH TURN position, the signal is routed to ground through circuit 91-LG27 (BK/GN). The GEM then provides voltage to circuits 49S-LG5 (BU/WH) and 49S-LG4 (BU/RD) for the LH and RH front turn lamps, respectively.
Possible Causes
- Circuit 49S-LG4 (BU/RD) short to voltage
- Circuit 49S-LG5 (BU/WH) short to voltage
- Circuit 49S-LG11 (BU/OG) short to voltage
- Circuit 49S-LG13 (BU/RD) short to voltage
- Circuit 49S-LG18 (BU) short to voltage
- Circuit 49S-LG20 (BU/WH) short to voltage
- Circuit 91S-LG1 (BK/YE) short to ground
- Circuit 91S-LG2 (BK/BU) short to ground
