Normal Operation
For vehicles with automatic transaxles, vehicle speed information is sent to the powertrain control module (PCM) from the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor. For vehicles with manual transaxles, this information is sent to the PCM from the vehicle speed sensor (VSS).
DTC U2197 - sets after 2 seconds or longer, when the instrument cluster receives an invalid CAN message from the PCM for vehicle speed. The speedometer will return to zero.
DTC U2200 - sets after 2 seconds or longer, when the instrument cluster receives an invalid CAN message from the PCM for odometer. The odometer display will be filled with dashes.
