Normal Operation
The door lock cylinder switch receives voltage on circuits 31S-AA63 (BK/OG) and 31S-AA64 (BK/GN) from the generic electronic module (GEM). The door lock cylinder switch completes the circuit 31S-AA63 (BK/OG) to the GEM circuit 31-AA58 (BK) to indicate to the GEM to lock the doors. The door lock cylinder switch completes the circuit 31S-AA64 (BK/GN) to the GEM circuit 31-AA58 (BK) to indicate to the GEM to unlock the doors.
Possible Causes
- Circuit 31-AA58 (BK) open
- Circuit 31S-AA63 (BK/OG) open or short to ground
- Circuit 31S-AA64 (BK/GN) open or short to ground
- Front door latch
- GEM
