Normal Operation
The horn relay receives voltage from the central junction box (CJB) through circuit 30-DA1 (RD). When the horn switch is pressed, a ground signal is sent to the horn relay through circuit 91S-GJ7 (BK/BU) which energizes the horn relay. Voltage is then sent from the horn relay to the horn(s) through circuit 29S-GJ1 (OG/BU).
Possible Causes
- circuit 29S-GJ1 (OG/BU) short to voltage
- circuit 91S-GJ7 (BK/BU) short to ground
- circuit 91S-GL43 (BK/GN) short to voltage
- horn relay
- horn switch
- clockspring
- generic electronic module (GEM)
