Normal Operation
The front electronic module (FEM) receives voltage (hot at all times) from the rear battery junction box (BJB) through circuit 30-AJ80 (RD/OG). With the ignition switch in the ON, the rear electronic module (REM) provides voltage to the driver window control switch through circuit 7-AJ7 (YE/RD) and to the passenger window control switch through circuit 7-AJ18 (YE/VT). The FEM provides voltage to the driver window motor while the REM provides voltage to the passenger window motor. The FEM senses the driver window position using sensors in the window motor and the REM senses the passenger window position using sensors in the window motor. The delayed accessory feature turns off voltage to the windows (from the FEM and REM) whenever the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position and one or both doors are opened. If the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position and no doors are opened, voltage is turned off after approximately 10 minutes.

Possible Causes
- circuit 7-AJ7 (YE/RD) open
- circuit 31-AJ80A (BK/OG) open
- REM
- driver window control switch
