PINPOINT TEST C: THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID IS INOPERATIVE - FROM THE REMOTE SWITCH

Normal Operation
The luggage compartment lid remote switch supplies a ground signal to the front electronic module (FEM). When the FEM receives ground via circuit 8-AA30 (WH), the rear electronic module (REM) energizes circuit 29S-AA83 (OG/GN) and supplies voltage to the luggage compartment lid release solenoid.

Possible Causes
- circuit 8-AA30 (WH) short to ground or open
- circuit 31-AA30 (BK/YE) open
- FEM
- luggage compartment lid remote switch
