Pinpoint Test B: DTC 1924-VAPS Solenoid Actuator Output Short To Ground

Test B1-B3:

Normal Operation
The FEM module sends the VAPS solenoid a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) circuit through circuit 8-CE9 (WH/GN). The VAPS solenoid sends a feedback voltage to the FEM module, (depending on power steering assist demand), through circuit 9-CE9 (BN/GN).

Possible Causes
^ VAPS solenoid
^ Circuit 8-CE9 (WH/GN)

CAUTION: Use the flex probe kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
