Battery Cable: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cables.
1. Disconnect the auxiliary ground cables.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the battery power cables.
1. Disconnect the auxiliary ground cables.
2. Disconnect the battery power cable.
3. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
4. Disconnect the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) tube.
5. Detach the air cleaner and secure to one side.
6. Disconnect the ground cable.
7. Detach the battery cables from the retaining clips.
8. Disconnect the starter motor solenoid electrical connector.
9. Disconnect the engine ground cable.
10. Raise and support the vehicle.
11. Disconnect the starter motor electrical connectors.
12. Lower the vehicle.
13. Disconnect the generator electrical connector.
14. Remove the battery cables.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
