Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures

Use Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-ROO51 or equivalent to perform pinpoint tests.

CAUTION: Do not make jumper connections except as directed. Improper connections may damage the voltage regulator or fuse.

NOTE:
^ All voltage measurements are referenced to the negative (-) battery post unless otherwise specified.

^ All "ignition switch ON" measurements are made with engine NOT running unless directed to START ENGINE.

^ When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, volatile memory functions will be lost, affecting vehicle performance.
