Cruise Control Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Key OFF.
2. Disconnect the speed control actuator switch connector.







SPEED CONTROL ACTUATOR SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS
SWITCH RESISTANCE
ON Greater than 10,000 ohms
OFF Less than 5 ohms
SET/ACC Approximately 680 ohms
CST Approximately 120 ohms
RSM Approximately 2200 ohms


3. Measure the resistance between terminal 3 and terminal 2 of the speed control actuator switch.
4. If the speed control actuator switch is not as specified, replace the speed control actuator switch. Otherwise, reconnect the speed control actuator switch and return to the Pinpoint Test. Pinpoint Tests
