A6 -- Check Stoplamp Operation

^ Key OFF.

^ Depress the brake pedal.

^ Do the stoplamps operate correctly?

YES -- Service the GN wire between the brake ON/OFF switch and the shift lock actuator.

NO -- Diagnose and repair non-functioning stoplamps.
